Safety
Poison by inhalation. Combustible when exposed to heat or flame. The vapor is potentially explosive. To fight small fires, use dry chemical, CARBON dioxide, WATER spray, or foam. To fight large fires, use WATER spray, fog, or foam. May explode on heating with nitrates. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Cl− and phosgene.
