Safety

Moderately toxic by ingestion and skin contact. A skin and eye irritant. Flammable liquid when exposed to heat or flame; can react with oxidizing materials. Potentially explosive. To fight fire, use alcohol foam, foam, CO₂, dry chemical. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. See also ETHERS.
