Safety

Mildly toxic by ingestion and skin contact. A skin and eye irritant. Combustible material when exposed to heat of flame. See also ESTERS and MALEIC ACID. To fight fire, use dry chemical, CO₂, water, fog, mist. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes.
