Safety

Poison by ingestion. Moderately toxic by skin contact. Irritating to skin and mucous membranes. Accompanied by alcohol intake it causes violent vomiting and shock. A general-purpose soil fumigant. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of NOx, SOx, and Na2O. See also CARBAMATES.
