Safety
Mildly toxic by ingestion and inhalation. A skin and eye irritant. A very dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat, flame or oxidizers. To fight fire, use alcohol foam. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes. Used as a cross-linking agent for acrylic and polyolefin plastics. See also ESTERS.
