Hazardclass8
Hazard Xn:Harmful;
Risk R21;R36/37/38
Safety
Moderately toxic by ingestion and skin contact. A skin and severe eye irritant. Flammable liquid when exposed to heat or flame or by chemical reaction. Many phosphites decompose to evolve PHOSPHINE when heated. Explosion Hazard: See PHOSPHINE. Can react vigorously with oxidizing materials. To fight fire, use foam, CO2, dry chemical. Dangerous; when heated to decomposition or on contact with acid or acid fumes it emits highly toxic fumes of POx.
