Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Moderately toxic by subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. Human systemic effects: acute renal failure, acute tubular necrosis, cholestatic jaundice, dermatitis, diarrhea, excitement, fever, hypermotility, interstitial nephritis, nausea or vomiting. Human teratogenic effects by ingestion: developmental abnormalities of the cardiovascular (circulatory) system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, and other developmental abnormalities. Human reproductive effects by ingestion (effects on newborn): change in condition of newborn at birth, biochemical and metabolic effects, and other neonatal measures or effects.
