Safety

A poison by intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intramuscular routes. Moderately toxic by ingestion. Questionable carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic, tumorigenic, and teratogenic data. Other experimental reproductive effects. Human systemic effects by intramuscular route: hallucinations, muscle weakness, nausea or vomiting. Human mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of SO_x.
