Safety

Poison by ingestion, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. Human systemic effects by ingestion or intravenous routes: tremors, high blood pressure and abnormal catecholamine levels in the sympathetic nervous system, diplopia. Experimental reproductive effects. Mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of NO_x and Cl⁻.
