Poison by intraperitoneal route. Moderately toxic by ingestion and intramuscular routes. See also PHOSPHATES and ESTERS. When S-(2-Aminoethyl)thiophosphate monosodium salt (CAS NO.3724-89-8) is heated to decomposition, it emits very toxic fumes of PO_x, SO_x, NO_x, and Na₂O.
