Confirmed carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic, neoplastigenic, and tumorigenic data. Poison by ingestion, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. Moderately toxic by inhalation. Human mutation data reported. Experimental reproductive effects. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NO_x. See also N-NITROSO COMPOUNDS.
