Safety Moderately toxic by ingestion. Very mildly toxic by skin contact and inhalation. A skin and eye irritant. Mutation data reported. Questionable carcinogen with experimental neoplastigenic data. Very dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat, flames (sparks), or oxidizers. Explosive in the form of vapor when exposed to heat or flame.
