Poison by intraperitoneal route. Many N-nitroso compounds are carcinogens. An explosive. Dangerous when stored in sealed containers as it decomposes to release nitrogen. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NO_x. See also N-NITROSO COMPOUNDS and EXPLOSIVES, HIGH.
