Safety Poison by ingestion, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous and intravenous routes. An experimental teratogen. Experimental reproductive effects. Human systemic effects: hepatitis. Used as a respiratory stimulant. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of HCl and NOx.
