Moderate fire and explosion hazard in the forms of dust and vapor when exposed to heat or flame. See also POWDERED METALS. When heated or on contact with acid it emits toxic fumes of SbH3. Electrolysis of acid sulfides and stirred Sb halide yields explosive Sb. It can react violently with NH4NO3, halogens, BrN3, BrF3, HClO3, ClO, ClF3, HNO3, KNO3, KMnO4, K2O2, NaNO3, oxidants.
