An experimental teratogen. Other experimental reproductive effects. When heated or on contact with acid or acid fumes, it emits highly toxic fumes; can react vigorously on contact with oxidizing materials. Incompatible with bromine azide, dirubidium acetylide, halogens, palladium, zinc, platinum, NCl₃, AgNO₃, CrO₃, Na₂O₂, hexafluoroisopropylideneamino lithium.
