Globally Harmonized System of Classification adn Labelling of Chemicals(GHS)
Hazardclass2.3
Hazard F+: Highly flammable;Xn: Harmful;
Risk R12;R20/22
Safety Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Moderately toxic by inhalation. Very dangerous fire hazard when exposed to heat, flames (sparks), or oxidizers. To fight fire, stop flow of gas. Violent reaction when mixed with (Br2 + O2) or (CIF3 + water). Potentially explosive polymerization reaction with ethylene. Incompatible with 1,1-dichloroethylene; oxygen. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of F− and Cl−. See also CHLORINATED HYDROCARBONS, ALIPHATIC; and FLUORIDES.
