Safety

Poison by ingestion, intravenous, intraperitoneal, and subcutaneous routes. An experimental teratogen. Experimental reproductive effects. A powerful central nervous system stimulant. Caution: Excessive use may lead to tolerance and habituation. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of HCl and NO_x. See also BENZEDRINE.
