The safety information of N-Nitroso-N-butylurea (CAS NO.869-01-2):
Suspected carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic and tumorigenic data. A poison by ingestion. Moderately toxic by subcutaneous route. Experimental teratogenic and reproductive effects. Mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx. See also NITROSAMINES.
