Safety
Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Mutation data reported. Absorbed through the skin and by inhalation of the dust. Acute exposure may cause methemoglobinemia cyanosis. Chronic exposure may cause liver damage. Flammable liquid. Decomposes exothermically at 247°C. Possibly explosive reaction with ethylene oxide at 130°C. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx. See also o-NITROANILINE, p-NITROANILINE, and ANILINE DYES.
