Profile: Porphyrin Systems GbR is engaged in the synthesis & investigation of porphyrins and related compounds. We focus on the development of new porphyrinic photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy of cancer. Apart from simple porphyrins like tetraphenylporphyrin and metal complexes of TPP, we offer now functionalized porphyrins & lipophilic porphyrins. We also offer pyrroles that are starting compounds for porphyrin synthesis. Our service includes spectroscopic and electrochemical measurements. Our products include tetraphenylporphyrins, tetratolylporphyrins, chlorins, heterocycles, diaryl porphyrins, sulfonamides, amino acids, aldehydes and ketones. Amino acids include 2-({[3-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] sulfonyl} amino) acetic acid, 2-{[(3- chlorophenyl) sulfonyl] amino} acetic acid, 2-{[(3- methoxyphenyl) sulfonyl] amino} acetic acid & 2-{[( 2, 3, 5, 6- tetramethylphenyl) sulfonyl] amino} acetic acid.
