Profile: Evans Chemetics LP produces organic divalent sulfur chemicals. We are accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certification. We provide thioglycolic acids, mercaptopropionic acids & derivatives. Our thiodipropionic acids & its derivatives are produced as antioxidants. We also manufacture specialty sulfur chemicals including thioglycerol, ethanolamine sulfite and sulfoethyl methacrylate. Our thioglycolates & thiolactates are active ingredients for cold wave formulations, hair straighteners and depilatories. Our thioglycolic acid and its alkali salts are used for dehairing animal hides and for leather tanning. The anticorrosive properties of thioglycolic acid and its salts like ammonium thioglycolate are used in water treatment chemicals and in oilfield chemicals.
