Our P-Lac™ potassium lactate is a slightly viscous liquid that is concentrated to 60% solids by weight in purified water. The crystalline potassium salt of lactic acid is hygroscopic and difficult to isolate. It exhibits antimicrobial and humectant properties in food, pharmaceutical & cosmetic applications. Our phytosterol powders are derived from soybean oil and are available in concentrations of either 90% or 95% total phytosterol. In both cases, the mixture of phytosterol contains 80% of beta sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol.
