Introduce: Chongqing Fuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., established on 25 Feb., 2004, is the first modern pharmaceutical enterprise located in Chongqing (Changshou) Chemical Park, and is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of antibiotics APIs in accordance with the related national standards and GMP standard. In July 2005, products were put into the markets in large scale. In July 2006, the company was honored as “High- and New-tech Enterprise in Chongqing”.
With an occupied floor area of 100mu, a construction area of 8,000 sq. meters and first-stage investment of around 100 million RMB yuan, the company consists of an independent research institute, a sales branch and a preparation factory. After completion, the company will have a continuous line of raw materials--semi-finished products--end products.
Boasting advanced pharmaceutical equipments and monitoring devices and leading technologies, we mainly produce aztreonam, ticarcillin sodium, azlocillin, sulbenicillin sodium, aztreonam (arginine)blend, aztreonam intermediate, ticarcillin sodium (clavulanate potassium)blend, cefpirome sulfate, cefpirome sulfate (sodium carbonate)blend, famcyclovir, glycocholic acid hydrate, quetiapine fumarate, valaciclovir hydrochloride, ceftezole, ceftezole sodium, doripenem and ertapenem etc. with a total annual output of around 40 metric tons and annual production value of 200 million RMB. Among them, aztreonam and carcillin sodium were approved by GMP in Dec. 2004 and Feb. 2006 respectively. In January 2007, sulbenicillin Sodium and cefpirome sulfate were both approved by GMP. Our medium- to high-end products can be expected to enter the market in 3 years’ time. Except for our advantages in antibiotics, we are planning to develop wider range of drugs. Meanwhile, we develop fine chemicals and special-purpose chemicals. And the company are now applying for our own trademark and directly provide finished pharmaceuticals with our own trademark
