Profile: Genovique Specialties specializes in the manufacturing of specialty plasticizers for adhesives, sealants, coatings and PVC markets. Our products include benzoic acid, benzoate ester plasticizers, coalescent agents, monomeric plasticizers, polymeric plasticizers and sodium benzoate. Our benzoic acid is a mono-functional aromatic acid, which is used as a building block for the synthesis of alkyd resins. It improves gloss, hardness and chemical resistance when used as a component of alkyd resins. It can also be used as preservative to increases storage stability and reduces corrosion for emulsions, polishes, waxes, paints & liquid detergents. Our Probenz® SG sodium benzoate is used as a preservative in the food and beverage industries, cosmetic products & as a corrosion inhibitor in automotive & other antifreeze products.
