Background

The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Co. Ltd., (DMCC) headqartered in Mumbai (India), is an ISO 9001:2008 accredited organization. DMCC started its first plant of Sulfuric Acid in India in 1919. DMCC initiated a new era in Indian Agriculture with the manufacture of phosphate based fertilizers.   Today DMCC has manufacturing locations across western India with global scale manufacturing   capabilities.   DMCC is amongst worls’s largest manufacturers of Chlorosulphonic acid, Sulfur trioxide and Benzene sulphonyl chloride.

Technology

DMCC continuously upgrades it’s technologies in order to enhance it’s production capabilities and capacities.   Our broad technology base is built upon more than eight decades of   production   experience combined with an ongoing and aggressive approach to research and development.   Some of the chemical reactions undertaken at the production facilities are:

·          Acid chloride reaction

·          Ethylation

·          Methylation

·          Esterification

Research and Development

All processes are developed in house based on customer requirements.   The R & D center of DMCC supports the company’s relationship with it’s customer by understanding their needs and delivering value that meets the challenging trends and demands of the customer.

DMCC’s capabilities in handling and recycling of waste offers it a unique advantage.   For example hydrofluoric acid generated at one of our production sites was utilized to produce value added products thus creating wealth from waste. DMCC products are welcome at home and in developed markets of Europe, Far east, Australia, a fact reflected in our export awards. Establishing a strong foothold in the discerning global markets not only comes from an expanded sales presence but also from deep sense of commitment to our customer’s success.
