They are viscous, have low vapor pressures and low toxicity. The difference in their application is dependent mainly to variations in physical properties. These properties include viscosity, hygroscopicity and boiling point. These are widely used in industries because of their low vapor pressure, freeze point depression, lubrication, hygroscopicity, solvent properties, low toxicity, and plasticising property. Their ease of reaction due to their alcohol groups makes them popular chemical intermediates in the formation of many products. Our DefendAL™ global automotive extended life coolant/antifreeze is a high performance technologically advanced global antifreeze that meets the latest and most stringent requirements of global automotive & heavy duty vehicle requirements. It incorporates a proprietary inhibitor system that is intended for use with any cars or heavy duty antifreeze/coolant in any diesel powered truck, farm, marine or gasoline engine with aluminum and other engine metals. It is recommended for top off of any color antifreeze system, conventional, hybrid or organic acid.
