Introduce: Jiangsu Kolod Food Ingredients Co., Ltd. (Kolod for short) is a private company, producing food grade and top class of inorganic salts. Kolod covers an area of 113,220 m2. Total annual capacity is 120,000t. Output value of last three years is 400 million RMB. Kolod is located in Guanyun economic developing zone, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu province, very close to the county seat. Guanyun County locates near to the junction of two high ways called G25 and G15. Here, two junctions of high-speed rail ways, which are now laying tracks and will be finished in 2017, are under construction. Guanyun is only 60km to Lianyungang seaport, 40km to Lianyungang airport and 65km to Huai’an airport. New Lianyungang international airport is planned to build in Guanyun County, only 15 minutes to drive from Kolod. Within 3 years, transportation in Guanyun will be very unique in the whole country. 300 employees work in Kolod, 60 professional technicians among them. There are 12 workshops, 1 power house and 1 mechanical repair workshop. Kolod produces more than 60 products. The main of them are Phosphates, Sulfates, Citrates and Iron Salts. Many products are exported to more than 20 countries such as countries in Western Europe and Southeast Asia. Now, more than 1,000 customers exist in food, pharmacy, metallurgy, energy and building materials industry. Either quality or production size of several strong products could achieve top level both home and abroad. So far, Kolod has been one of the main suppliers of many large national and international food manufacturing enterprises. For a long time, Kolod always adheres to people-orientation and honest business philosophy, adheres to sustainable development strategy and adheres to the road of self innovation. In 2011, Kolod was certified manufacturing license by Jiangsu Food and Drug Administration and filing certificate for exporting food additives by Lianyungang Entry-exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau P.R. China. Still in 2011, there are three products identified as high-tech products by Science & Technology Department of Jiangsu Province. In 2012, Kolod was identified as a high-tech company by Lianyungang Technology Bureau. In 2015, Kolod was identified as a technology center of Jiangsu Province by Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission. Meanwhile, Kolod has built up operation and management systems connected with domestic and foreign markets such as Quality Management System, Food Safety System, Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Since founded in 2010, the average growth rate of various economic indicators is more than 50%. In 2015, total sales amount is 220,000,000RMB and total tax is 17,300,000RMB.
From 2010 to 2013, Kolod only covers an area of 26,640 m2, producing Potassium Phosphates, Potassium Citrate, Sodium Phosphates and Potassium Chloride(single-effect crystallization), which are now still our strong products.
From 2013 to 2014, Kolod covers an area of 59,940 m2. Three-effect evaporation and crystallization device with annual capacity of 20,000t of food grade Potassium Chloride was built up. The same year, this device has been put into operation. And also, new products were developed this year such as high purified Potassium Sulfate, Sodium Sulfate and Ammonium Sulfate, Potassium Acetate, Potassium Formate and Sodium Acetate.
From Jun. 2014 to Dec. 2015, four-effect evaporation and crystallization device with annual capacity of 50,000t of food grade Potassium Chloride was built up, the very first of the country. Either automation of the device, raw material, production size, environment or the finished product is the best of the country. Meanwhile, Sulfates, Acetates, Iron Salts, Phosphates, Ammonium Oxalates and Manganese Sulfate have been successfully developed. And food grade Potassium Nitrate, Sodium Nitrate, Manganese Nitrate and Ferric Nitrate are still in development.
Over these years, during the development, Kolod has received warm care and strong support from governments of the city, the county and the developing zone. Kolod has been awarded the following honors:
① In 2012, titles of Advanced Enterprise of Double Comments & Double Love and Charity Unit from Lianyungang General Labor Union and Lianyungang Association of Industry and Commerce.
② In 2013, title of Harmonious Enterprise With Model Labor Relations from Jiangsu Labor Committee of Three Parties, title of Jiangsu Private and Technical Enterprise from Jiangsu Association of Private and Technical Enterprise, title of Jiangsu Science & Technology SME from Lianyungang Science & Technology Bureau.
③ In 2014, title of Excellent Private Enterprise from the City Government and Municipal Committee.
④ In 2013, the chairman of Kolod, Mr. Feng Kuanyu, was honored Entrepreneurial leader in the North Part of Jiangsu Province, Advanced Individual of Legal City Construction by the City Government and the Municipal Committee and Outstanding Personnel for the Scientific and Technical Contribution to the City, with the allowance of the City Government.
⑤ In 2014, Mr. Feng Kuanyu was honored Medal of May Day of the City.
⑥ In 2015, Mr. Feng was honored Labor Model of the City for the year of 2012-2014.
⑦ There are no economic disputes in Kolod. In recent years, Kolod has been constantly assessed as AAA-level credit enterprise by Jiangsu Far East International Assessment Consulting Co., Ltd.
The owner of Kolod is Mr. Feng Kuanyu. He is 52 years old. He graduated from college in 1988 as an Excellent Graduate. In college, his major was Chemical Engineering. He’s now a senior engineer.
From 1988 to 2001, he worked in a state-owned enterprise (2,000 people). He was in charge of technical management and his highest position was vice general manager.
Since 2001, he has been a professor in a local college. And during these years, he was also involved in the construction and management of several factories.
Since Oct. 2010, he founded Jiangsu Kolod Food Ingredients Co., Ltd. and occupied the position of general manager. He is in charge of overall work.
